The Province of Rwanda was founded in 1959, and presently has eight communities and fifty-eight sisters.
The communities are located in the Dioceses of Nyundo, Butare, Byumba, Dar es Salaam and Kigali

Our Lady of Kibeho, Rwanda
Our Lady's apparitions in which she appealed for conversion, prayer, penance, and fasting were officially recognized by the Church in 2001.

Virgin Mary, Mother of the Word
"The apparitions of the Virgin Mary, Mother of the Word, as she revealed
herself to three young women who were students in a small locality called Kibeho,
started on November 28 1981, and ceased in 1989.
The message of the Virgin can be summarized in two phrases:
Change your life, and pray.
On November 28, 2006 at its 25th Jubilee gathering, Kibeho was arrayed in all
the colors of the Great Lakes region of Africa. Large delegations came from neighboring
countries. It was obvious that this crowd was not led to Kibeho out of curiosity.
The atmosphere of faith was tangible, very striking."
